to offer and acceptance in record time. Steps we undertake
include the following:
Step 1 — Needs Assessment (1
day)
Prior to conducting a search for you, our associates
conduct a visit to your office to learn about the
specifics of the search. If this is the first engagement
between our two companies, our associates will enhance
their understanding of the structure, strategy, culture,
and policies of your company. The more we understand
about your business and your needs, the better we
can serve you.
Step 2 — Preparation and Confirmation
of Job Description (2 days)
Based on initial discussions with you, we prepare
a written job description that defines the scope and
responsibilities of the position. We also identify
and prioritize the professional and personal qualifications
that you require in an ideal candidate. Upon your
final approval, this written job description serves
as the master recruiting guideline for our associates.
Step 3 — Candidate Research
(2 to 4 weeks)
We develop a research plan to identify potential candidates.
We do this via our in-house research staff and our
extensive network of industry contacts. Where appropriate,
we also leverage our existing proprietary database
of candidates, all of whom have been pre-qualified
through previously conducted interviews with our associates.
We provide you with detailed profiles of prospecitve
candidates, saving valuable time in the initial stages
of the search. We work with you to answer important
questions about prospective candidates and, together,
we finalize a list of targeted candidates. Our associates
then contact targeted candidates and assess their
interest level in the position and their ability to
achieve the objectives defined in the written job
description.
Step 4 — Candidate Assessment and Presentation
(1 to 4 weeks)
Our associates conduct in-depth interviews with candidates
who pass our initial screening. We assess work experience,
management style, personal characteristics and other
essential criteria. We conduct reference checks. We
then present resumes and interview summaries to you
for review and discussion. This presentation provides
a detailed outline of the candidates' business experience
and our evailuation of their strengths, weaknesses,
management style and personality profile. After establishing
a final list of candidates, interviews with your management
team are scheduled for those candidates that you have
selected.
Step 5 — Interviews, Final Feedback,
and Offer (1 to 4 weeks)
Face-to-face in-depth interviews are conducted. Participant
feedback is reviewed to determine next steps. At the
end of this process, an offer is extended to a highly
qualified candidate. Employment negotiations are conducted
and final terms of an agreement are defined and communicated.
Step 6 — Return-on-Investment
(ongoing)
To attain your complete satisfaction, we work to ensure
a smooth transition for the executive into the new
position and we stay in touch and monitor the performance
of the chosen executive to ensure that you are happy
with the search results.
